There was still snow on the ground on April 3, 1871 when the Springdale Township Board of Supervisors convened for the first time in the home of Titus Glover. Less than half a decade had passed since the first settlers ventured into the white pine and hardwood forests of Springdale Township to farm, tend cattle, and raise children. Early in-person VOTING

for

Springdale Township

Early in-person voting for Springdale Township voters begins every day at the Maple Grove Community Center, 9208 Kauko St., Kaleva from Saturday, October 26 and ends on Sunday, November 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The traditional election day is Tuesday, November 5, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Springdale Township Hall. No early in-person voting is available in our township hall.

PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST NOTICE
FOR THE NOVEMBER 5, 2024
MICHIGAN STATE GENERAL ELECTION

Pursuant to State Statute (MCL 168.798 (1)), a Public Accuracy Test of the electronic tabulating equipment will be held to demonstrate to the public that votes cast will be accurately counted for the November 5, 2024 Michigan State General election.


The Public Accuracy Test will be conducted by the Springdale Township Election Commission on Saturday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m. in the township hall, 14992 Glovers Lake Rd, Bear Lake, MI 49614.

2023-2024 BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING & MEETING

The Springdale Township Board will hold a public hearing and meeting on the proposed fiscal year 2023-2024 budget on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Springdale Township Hall, 14992 Glovers Lake Road at Healy Lake Road (669). The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this meeting.  Adoption of the proposed budget will be voted on during this township board meeting.
